Research Object and Subject. The object of the study is the texts of international business emails containing explicit or implicit references to deadlines. The subject of the study is the set of linguistic means (lexical, grammatical, syntactic, and stylistic) that function in this discourse as indicators of urgency.

Research Aim and Objectives. The aim of this work is to identify, systematize, and analyze the primary linguistic indicators of urgency in English–language business emails. To achieve this aim, the following objectives are set:

1. To examine the theoretical foundations of business communication studies and the linguistic category of urgency.

2. To define the corpus of research material and the criteria for its selection.

3. To identify and classify lexical indicators of urgency.

4. To analyze grammatical and syntactic means of expressing urgency.

5. To investigate the role of stylistic and pragmatic aspects, such as tone and email structure.

6. To summarize the findings and formulate practical recommendations for effective and culturally sensitive business communication.
