Unit 1 "Casual look"

1. Make a presentation in any form you like (docx, pdf, pptx). Describe in written form the typical clothes people wear for each season of the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter (25-35 sentences). 

2. Find the suitable pictures for task 1, put them into the presentation, label the pieces of clothes. It is necessary to find 1-3 pictures for each season.

3. Make the text to tell about your favourite clothes and way of dressing.

Unit 2 "Home sweet home"

1. Make a project on the topic "Home".

2. Choose the suitable images in accordance with your description of the house (flat) - the exterior and the interior of the living space.

3. Download photos with a description.

4. Describe a house (flat) you want to have.

a) where your future house (flat) is going to be (in the city or in the countryside, near sea or in the mountains, etc.);

b) a type of house, how many rooms you need, what rooms (living-room, bedroom, kitchen etc.);

c) what furniture you need to buy, where to buy, where to place it.

Unit 3 "Places to live"

Project «City guide»

Situation: You are going to develop a project of a city guide for foreigners.

a) Present your city or town where you live:

a) look for information about your city or town and describe it (how many districts, what is there in the districts (parks, museums, theaters, cinemas, embankment, etc.);

b) find out what places of interest in your city or town can be important for tourists (download photos from the Internet with places of interest and name them);

c) download a map, mark down the most important places;

d) decide where it’s good to start the route for the tourist, what way to go;

e) give some recommendations for the tourists (about transport, places of interest, cafés, shopping, etc.). Follow the plan.

Unit 4 "Shopping"

Write a message on the topic "Shopping".

1. What kind of shops do you know?

a) a supermarket, a department store, а greengrocer's, a butcher’s, women's outfitter's, a men's outfitter's, etc.;

b) what goods can buy in these stores;

c) how often you go shopping; 

d) what your favorite shops are, whether you like go shopping, etc.;

e) how much money do you usually spend there, etc.;

f) whether you prefer online or offline shopping and why?;

g) what your attitude to shopping is.
