1. «About my scientific interests»

I am currently pursuing a Candidate of Sciences degree in the field of petroleum geology, under the Russian specialty 1.6.11 “Geology, Prospecting, Exploration and Development of Oil and Gas Fields.” My academic and professional journey has been shaped by a strong commitment to scientific inquiry and practical innovation in the petroleum sector.

I successfully graduated from Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in 2015 with a degree in geology. I completed my studies at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Department of Petroleum and Gas Geology. During my five years of academic training (2010–2015), I demonstrated a strong interest in sedimentology, petroleum geochemistry, facies analysis, and the development of enhanced oil recovery technologies. These interests were not only reflected in my academic record, but also in my active participation in conferences, workshops, and scientific seminars at the national and international levels.

I authored and co-authored multiple research papers in areas such as unconventional hydrocarbon resources, the geochemical characteristics of oils and source rocks, stratigraphic correlation techniques, and the modeling of productive reservoirs. I received several awards for my academic achievements and scientific contributions during this time.

My academic worldview and research motivation were significantly influenced by outstanding scientists and industry leaders such as Academician Ivan Gubkin, Vladimir Vernadsky, Charles Lyell, Academician A.E. Trofimuk, the late Chief Geologist of PJSC "Tatneft" Renat Khalilullovich Muslimov, and my scientific advisor, Professor Nuriya Gavasovna Nurgalieva. Their legacy inspired me to pursue in-depth studies of sedimentary basins, the structural-facies framework of oil-bearing regions, and the nature of organic-rich deposits.

Building upon this foundation, I have continued to deepen my involvement in the petroleum sector. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Geological Direction at the Department of Exploration and Appraisal Geology at the Institute of TatNIPIneft. I lead a dedicated team of 15 geologists and specialists, and together we focus on regional geological exploration efforts across the Republic of Tatarstan, one of the core oil-producing regions in the Volga-Ural petroleum province.

Our primary objective is to identify and evaluate underexplored or residual oil-bearing zones by integrating a wide range of geological and geophysical data. Our department oversees structural and facies modeling, well correlation, seismic interpretation, and resource estimation—contributing directly to the strategic planning of exploration drilling campaigns. Much of our current work targets complex objects within the Upper Devonian and Lower Carboniferous sequences, particularly focusing on carbonate-clay reservoirs, high-viscosity oil accumulations, and non-anticlinal traps.

My research is closely aligned with these industrial tasks. I supervise the core analysis and geological interpretation of promising intervals from key fields such as Pervomayskoye and Kontuzlinskoye. At the latter, we obtained a unique core sample from the Tournaisian stage of the Lower Carboniferous—material that has no equivalent in the region to date. These core samples are now being studied jointly with colleagues from Kazan Federal University (KFU) to assess their lithological, geochemical, and facies characteristics. This collaborative effort allows us to define sedimentary trends, reconstruct depositional environments, and identify potential hydrocarbon generation zones.
