Object of study: the use of hyperbole and litotes using the example of English media discourse.
Subject of research: stylistic techniques of using hyperbole and litotes, which are used in English media discourse.
Research hypothesis: it is assumed that the stylistic devices of hyperbole and litotes in English media discourse find their implementation at both the syntactic and lexical levels, while realizing the communicative goal in the form of an assessment of ongoing events in both negative and positive terms.
Purpose of the study: to determine models of the use of stylistic devices of hyperbole and litotes in the field of English media discourse.
