1.Перепишите следующие предложения и переведите их на русский язык, обращая внимание на способы перевода инфинитива. Подчеркните инфинитив в английских предложениях.

3. Firefighters are taught to recognize flashovers and avoid backdrafts.

2. Class B fires (in the classification of fires) are the fires involving liquids or liquefiable solids.

3. The speed of burning is the second factor determining the flammability of the material.

4. Образуйте Participle II от глаголов, данных в скобках. Полученные словосочетания переведите.

5. Перепишите и переведите предложения, обращая внимание на

употребление Participle II . Подчеркните причастия II в английских     предложениях и в переводе.

1.         The rate of combustion depends on the character of materials involved in the process.

2.        Efforts directed at removing the fuel are sometimes called starvation.

3.        Combustion may be supported by chlorine in some limiyed circumstances.

6. Перепишите и письменно переведите текст.

Fire train on railways of Russian Federation

The fire train is intended for fire liquidation and realization of saving jobs at the places of fire and in the rolling stock ay the railways stations and also for rendering assistance and the places on accidents, acts of nature and other extreme situations.

A chief of a fire train ( a chief of a shooting fire team, his assistance on a fire-technical parts are responsible for this job.

 The fire train is located at a large station (cargo, passenger, sorting, local) where there is a large working park of trains.

The departure of a fire train is done in the shortest time not later than 10 minutes from the moment of reception the report about an accident.

A train is always sent to the fire place by a locomotive .On its way there must not be any obstacles to the fire place and back.

The fire train consists of 2 big tanks, special car for firemen with a room for rest, a kitchen, sleeping apartments, and a special apartment for equipments..There is also a radio communication system. The train also includes a garage with a fire engine and also there are a lot of various facilities  (pumps for pumping water or combustible materials, such as petroleum and so on. Also there is a large amount of sand in large containers, sleeves of various diameters, trunks and so on. Such trains are available at each large station at a distance of 100 kilometers from each other.
