There is a widespread opinion that physical characteristics are of great importance in people’s life such as their future career, communication with other people and how much they are popular at school. Personally, I tend to disagree with this opinion. In this essay I will try to prove my position.
First, nowadays physical appearance is not a reason for people’s success or failure. Personal traits such as intelligence, self-confidence and communication skills are play the most important role. For instance, one of the most famous and well-paid model Winnie Harlow achieve success despite her unusual physical characteristics.
Second, the twenty first century is a time when all people are equal in their rights. All around the world tolerance is becoming more and more popular. For example, your physical traits can’t be the reason for refusal to work. Also, schools are trying to explain children that people’s personalities mean more than anything else and that they should be more
polite and friendly with other people.
To conclude, I would like to stress that nowadays there are no differences how person looks like and personal capacity appreciated more than physical characteristics.
